Travel by Bus

There are two types of bus transport at Post 16, buses that are provided by the Local Education Authority and service buses. If the bus you wish to use is provided by the Local Education Authority, then you should apply for a seat and a bus pass at County Hall Transport Department on 0116 305 0002 or by visiting the Local Authority website. These services are subject to alteration at the discretion of the LEA.

Service buses run to MV16 from Oakham operated by Centrebus (RF1) timetables can be found here. Buses from East Goscote, Syston and Leicester are operated by Arriva, further information can be found here. Information on all the buses travelling to and from Melton Mowbray can be downloaded here.

Online county LCC bus pass: ‚ÄčApplications can be made online from 2nd April 2018. The closing date for receiving all mainstream application forms back at County Hall is 30th June 2018.

Travel by Car

If you are traveling by car you can plan your route online. Please use the postcode LE13 1DN.

Student, staff and visitor parking is available at the College. Staff and students are asked to display a permit, available from Reception. Disabled parking is available at the front of the building.

Travel by Rail

Melton Mowbray station has direct rail links to Oakham, Stamford and Leicester. Click here to check times and availability.

When you exit the station, walk past the Council offices then turn right, walk over the footbridge and up Burton Road. MV16 is at the top of this road, approximately 20 minutes walk away.
