Results Collection
GCE A Level and Year 13 BTEC Results - Thursday 14th August
Results will be available to collect in person from college between 8:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m. (this will be in an envelope containing a results slip)
Results will be sent electronically at 10:00 a.m. via email to your college email address. Results will also show on your student app.
*Please note that if you are abroad on results day that you will not be able to access your college email as the IP addresses are restricted from outside of the UK. We are able to send results to a student’s personal email address, but you will need to complete the Results Collection Form.
If you are unable to collect your results and wish to nominate a representative to do so on your behalf, then in order to authorise this please complete the Results Collection Form.
Year 12 Exam Results
(BTEC external assessment results, Criminology, AS Further Maths)
Results will be sent electronically at 10:00 a.m. via email to your college email address. Results will also show on your student app.
GCSE Results - Thursday 21st August
Results will also be sent electronically at 8:00 a.m. via email to your college email account on Thursday 21st August 2025. Results will also show on your student app.
Private Candidates
Please email peaves@mv16.org.uk to make arrangements for the collection of your results, with our exams manager, Paula Eaves. This will be possible both in person and/or electronically to a previously agreed email address.

Instructions for Candidates Video 2024 / 2025
(Many thanks to 'The Exams Office' who give permission for member centres to use this video in assemblies/special briefings for candidates, and to add this to their centre website.
Important information for all candidates taking exams
If your exam is in the morning it will start at 9am.
If your exam is in the afternoon it will start at 1:30pm.
Please check your student app for your exam room and seat location.
You must line up outside the exam room 15-20 minutes before the start of the exam, please do not be late, if you are late you may not be allowed to sit the exam.
Please remember to enter the exam room in silence.
Do not try to communicate with any other student once you are in the exam room, as this could lead to disqualification.
Water is allowed in the exam room provided it is in a clear plastic bottle.
No food allowed unless it is required due to a medical condition.
Equipment
Please bring multiple black biro pens. Please do not use gel pen.
NO correcting fluids/tippex.
A calculator is permitted in some exams.
If you need to bring a pencil case, it should be transparent.
Ensure your pencil case is clear of all bits of paper. It should only have the equipment you require.
