Alicia (Whole Centre - 25/04/2022)

Alicia, our Monday Alumnus is a great example of how it is 'ok to change your career path'. In 2019 she left us to train as an accountant with one of the UK's top 10 accounting firms. 9 months into her contract, she decided it was not the right path for her & joined a new company, Fineturf, in the summer of 2020 as an Office Administrator whilst she figured out her next move! Little did she know, the Construction Industry would be where she would flourish! In April 2021 Alicia was promoted to the Operations Coordinator, responsible for project management, working with customers such as Manchester United, Tottenham Hotspur & The All England Lawn Tennis Club. In February 2022, she was appointed as the Operations Manager, coordinating project completion from the initial point of inquiry. Alicia says she "ensures all the contractors on site have everything they need from materials & equipment as well as the relevant training in place - whilst liaising with customers to keep them up to date during a project!" Never did she think she would end up in the Construction Industry when she left MV16 in 2019, but now so happy she realised it was ok to not go ahead with initial career plans! We hope to see Alicia back at MV July 1st for our annual Alumni event!
