Alumni Monday
Meghan left MV in 2017 and graduated from DMU in 2020 with 2:1 in Education Studies with Education whilst also completing her Level 2&3 in Counseling Skills during this time. Meghan has a keen interest in the 'Traveller Communities' and focused her dissertation on their engagement with specialist services, and she continued to support Leicestershire GATE with their annual conferences. After spending a year working as a 1:1 SEND LSA and a youth worker for Leicestershire County Council she secured a place on the Frontline programme in June 2021, the intensive fast track training programme for Children and Family social workers- she'll gain a MSc in Advanced Relationship Based Practice in Children and Family Social Work and become a qualified social work with guaranteed employment for Leicestershire County Council. Meghan is currently based in the First Response Children's Duty team and we look forward to hearing more about her pathway on July 1st at our Alumni Event!
