Art Foundation is a fast-paced, pre-degree course that encourages you to develop your curiosity and artistic ability in a specialism of your choice.
You will learn a broad range of skills before tailoring the course to your specific interests and career aspirations, enabling you to build an impressive portfolio of work that is well suited to a specialist undergraduate degree course of your choice.
The first stage of the course is diagnostic in the sense that it exposes you to a wide range of artistic disciplines. The second stage allows you to refine your developmental work in a slightly smaller field of expertise based on your strengths from stage one. The final stage will see you write and complete a final major project.
